Types of Wisdom

There are basically three types of wisdom viz:
• The Wisdom of God
• The Wisdom of Man
• The wisdom of Satan
The Wisdom of God:
What is God’s wisdom? {Proverb 1 vs. 7} The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom. What does it means to fear God?

Firstly, it means to accept the Lord Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior. Therefore the fear of the Lord is wisdom and wisdom is to accept the gospel of Jesus into your life. It is written in the book of proverb 1 vs. 20 that “wisdom” calls aloud outside. Which wisdom? The fear of God, meaning the gospel of Jesus Christ. That means that the gospel is crying aloud if only just anybody can listen and attend to the words of wisdom. If we turn to the book of John 1 vs. 12 it reads “But AS MANY AS receive Him to them He gave the power (authority, ability) to become children of God, to those who believe in His name” Now this are the consequences of not accepting Jesus In proverb 1 vs. 25 it reads “Because you (plural) have disdained all my (wisdom’s) counsel and would not have none of my rebuke 26. I will also laugh at your calamity; I will laugh when your terror comes in vs. 28 it says Then (After the rapture) they will call on me but I will not answer they will seek me diligently but they will not find me. Do you know that Christ is not condemning you? Why? Because He also came in flesh. He felt what you are feeling; He knows how difficult it is to overcome temptation; He knows what peer pressure is; He knows how interesting and sweet it is to sleep at home when it is time to go to church. In fact He doesn’t only know it He feels it {for we do not have a high priest who cannot sympathize with our weakness, but was in all point tempted as we are yet without sin. Hebrews 4 vs. 16} that’s why He is calling you to come. It’s so simple!!! Just accept Him. Haven receive Jesus Christ which is the basic wisdom there are some other meaning of the fear of God which is Obeying the commandments of God, serving God and acknowledging Him “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding in all your ways acknowledge Him and He will Direct your part. Do not be wise in your own eyes, fear the lord and depart from evil. It will be health to your flesh and strength to your bones {proverb 3 vs. 5¬ – 8}




THE WISDOM OF MAN:

THE WISDOM OF SATAN:

This means foolishness to the wisdom of God and God’s wisdom is foolishness to the wisdom of Satan. They are of word and opposite. For example if you were given an instruction not to go out of the house and unfortunately you are feeling boring that’s an avenue for Satan to display his wisdom. Then he’ll come and tell you “You can go, just make sure you return before they come back, no one will know” at that particular time in that place you’ll think that’s the true wisdom why? Because it solves your immediate problem and it is also a short cut but always remember that those who take short cut will be cut short. Please never listen to such; it is an idea from the devil. That’s not the only the way it could come it has different dimensions such as: “Stealing by style”, fraud etc that’s why proverb 1 vs. 19 says “so are the ways of everyone who is greedy for grain (stealing, fraud, current trafficking, etc) it takes the life of its owners” Please and please don’t accept it, rebuke it when it comes because it will surely come. Why should I rebuke it? You may say. Because your thought leads to your attitude which later becomes your habit; then matures into the form of behavior then finally it becomes your character. Take Caution
Another way to identify the wisdom of the Devil is in James 3 vs. 14 – 16 which reads “But if you have bitter envy and self seeking in your hearts, do not boast and lie against the truth 15. This wisdom does not descend from above (God) but it is earthly, sensual, and demonic 16. For where there is envy and self seeking exist, confusion, and every evil thing is there. GOD BLESS YOU.

Wisdom Is the principal thing therefore get wisdom and with all thy gettings get understanding {proverb 4 vs. 7}
The fear of the Lord is the beginning of {proverb 1 vs. 7}
If any of you lack wisdom let him ask of God who giveth to all men liberally and upbraideth not and it will be given to him {James 1 vs. 5}
But the Wisdom that is from above is first pure then peaceable, gentle, willing to yield, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality and without hypocrisy {James 3 vs. 17}
WHAT IS WISDOM? 1

Wisdom is the right application of knowledge and knowledge is anything you know and you are sure of. For example if you know that you have to help mummy do some home chores and you don’t that means that means you are not wise, but if you know that you ought to do so and you did it then you are wise. It has been observed among us teenagers and youth that 70% of us want to be told or reminded of what we already know we should do. This is unwise. If you have the knowledge of what to do go ahead and do them. That’s wisdom!!! It may not be easy, yes! In fact it is not! But you’ve got to try, just start from somewhere. You might make mistakes, Yes! No one is perfect, just try as much as possible to use your knowledge rightly and before you know it, it becomes part of your life.
